Collars & Co at CHROME

The Featherweight Flex Polo — the dress collar polo in its lightest version — in Liberty Navy, Augusta Green Stripe, Middleton Sage, Collins Berry and Brookline Lavender, then the Bellagio merino polos in three-button and buttonless, the Ravello linen-blend and the Maranello cotton-and-silk. The Apex performance dress shirts come in navy gingham, glacier blue twill, steel blue micro grid, navy basketweave and tan tattersall. For layering: the Cashmere Touch merino quarter-zip with suede trim, the Luxury Touch cotton-and-cashmere quarter-zip in black and cream, the Kensington cable quarter-zip, the Napoli wool-and-cashmere cardigan and the Regent reversible quilted vest, plus Velocity pull-on shorts and a few blazers in 38R to 44R. Tops run S to 3XL; the collection shows only what's in stock.

Collars & Co started in New York with a complaint: the founders hated wearing dress shirts under sweaters and jackets to work every day. The answer was a soft polo with a standard English spread collar — the look of a dress shirt with the comfort of a knit. The Featherweight Flex is 15 percent lighter than the original, with six-way stretch.

Fit: size charts are on each product page and win over anything here. Wear the polo under a quarter-zip or a blazer; see men's and men's shirts for Faherty and Marine Layer, and Malbon Golf for the course.
