More than two hundred ornaments. Music first: Willie Nelson, David Bowie as a bust and as Ziggy Stardust, Prince, Elton John, Freddie Mercury, Stevie Nicks and Taylor Swift. Then the screen: Ted Lasso, SNL's Stefon and Anna Wintour. Then the joke you give to the person who gets it — the Dumpster Fire, the Fast Food Chicken Meal, the Jetsetter suitcase, the luxury handbag, the Designer's Color Guide, the Book Shop and the bright stacked books, the Rosebud Motel, the Yee Haw boot, the red rhinestone cowboy boot and the Meowie Bowie sweater. Most are around $24; the collection shows only what's in stock.
Cody Foster started the company while still in high school, in Valentine, Nebraska, with his mom as his business partner — and it started with holiday ornaments. The company says almost everything it makes is handmade, using honest materials and finishes, and the pieces are meant to become the family collectibles that come out of the box every December.
Buying tip: most people build a tree around a theme — musicians, books, travel — and add a few each year. See the holiday shop and tree ornaments for One Hundred 80 Degrees, Christopher Radko and Old World Christmas, and pair the Willie ornament with a Daydreamer tee.
