How we build a stack: a 14- to 16-inch chain or choker, an 18-inch pendant, then a 20- to 24-inch charm or bead strand, in the same metal or deliberately mixed. Gorjana and Ella Stein are the plated, everyday layer; Paula Rosen and Zofia Day are the pieces you keep. Sort by gold, silver, pendants, chains or charms, or shop the maker: Gorjana, Paula Rosen, Farrah B. Earrings, bracelets and rings are under women's jewelry.
Questions we get about necklaces
Which necklaces can I wear in the shower?
Ella Stein's Waterproof line and Gorjana's 18k gold plate over brass are built for daily wear, including water. Beaded and enamel pieces should come off for swimming. Solid gold (Zofia Day) is fine wet.
What length should I choose?
16 inches sits at the collarbone, 18 just below it, 20 to 24 over a sweater. Most chains here have an extender; the product page gives the exact length.
