The Jacksons Douglas Tote bags are made from 100% jute, a resilient plant sustainably grown in Bangladesh. This material is naturally strong, making our bags durable enough to handle heavy use and last for years. When their journey comes to an end, they can be composted and biodegraded.

Opting for jute is also an environmentally conscious choice, reducing our carbon footprint and climate impact. Jute grows much faster than cotton (harvested every 4 to 6 months) and requires significantly less water. Research also indicates that jute enriches the soil and air, acting as a carbon sink that helps mitigate environmental damage.
