The Bordallo Pinheiro Cloudy Butterflies Cake Stand turns dessert into the centerpiece it deserves to be. Designed in collaboration with Claudia Schiffer, whose love of the English countryside inspired the collection, the footed stand is crafted in hand-painted earthenware with butterflies alighting across an ivory ground — each rendered in the loose, painterly style that gives the range its name.

Bordallo Pinheiro has been making naturalistic ceramics in Caldas da Rainha, Portugal since the 1880s, and the tradition shows in the high-gloss glaze and the care paid to every wing. Set it out with a layer cake for a dinner party, or leave it on the counter with fruit and let it work as sculpture.
