Barefoot Dreams at CHROME

Socks are most of it: CozyChic socks in Teaberry spacedye, the heathered tennis socks, the blanket-stitch rib in Stone, Barefoot In The Wild in Graphite, the 2-pair Snow Drop and 3-pair Agate sets, toddler two-packs and the baby plaid and holiday sock sets. Then the bigger pieces: the CozyChic adult robe in Dove Grey, the Fisherman Cable throw in Deep Aubergine, the Barbie checkered throw, the Costa Block stroller blanket in Moonwater and Chai, the toddler robe, and the Barefoot Buddies — the blue puppy, the pink bunny and the Disney Mickey and Minnie blanket buddies. Around thirty pieces from $15 to $228; the collection shows only what's in stock.

Barefoot Dreams was founded in Malibu in 1994 by Annette Cook, who started with children's pieces in calming colors; the brand now covers blankets, loungewear and apparel for the whole family. CozyChic is the knit that made the name — a plush polyester microfiber that goes in the washing machine. Barefoot Dreams notes that both the robe and the 3-pair sock set have been named Oprah's Favorite Things.

Care: machine wash cold on gentle, then lay flat or tumble low. See home for Pendleton blankets alongside, and kids and Jellycat for the baby floor.
