Details

Co-founded by MLB Hall of Famer and legendary Yankees Captain Derek Jeter in October 2014, The Players’ Tribune (TPT) is a sports content brand that pioneered athlete-driven storytelling. It was the first platform to offer direct-to-athlete storytelling, empowering athletes to share their voices through compelling written stories, captivating videos, and stunning visuals. I’ve Got a Story to Tell is the first physical collection of works made available to the public, celebrating the brand’s 10-year anniversary on October 1.

In honor of World Mental Health Day and the release of I’ve Got a Story to Tell, The Players’ Tribune and Assouline have made a donation to support the Kevin Love Fund. Together, we are dedicated to breaking the stigma surrounding mental health and promoting mental wellness for all.

The Kevin Love Fund
When NBA star Kevin Love shared his personal struggles with mental health after experiencing a public panic attack during a game, he never expected the movement it would spark. Fans and other high-profile figures began sharing their own stories of fear and struggle, igniting a nationwide conversation. In 2018, Love established the Kevin Love Fund (KLF), a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization focused on promoting mental wellness by creating parity between mental and physical health. With an evidence-based approach, KLF works on research, education, and changing the narrative to eliminate the stigma around mental health. To learn more, visit kevinlovefund.org.
