This face covering features vents and is not designed to protect other people not wearing the mask or to reduce the spread of viruses. AusAir originally designed their sleek mask to filter air pollution and particulates (from smoke, for example). It has a soft-yet-durable outer skin that comfortably fits the contours of your face (there’s a memory foam nosepiece) and replaceable filters that last up to four weeks (the refill packs are infused with essential oils). It can be washed like clothing—just be sure to remove the breathing valves first.
